Tennessee Serves Work Day 9-20

Tennessee Serves Work Day – Saturday, Sept. 20 at Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park (9:00am to 11:00am).

We are going to defend our poor native plants from these aggressive invaders. We will be eradicating privet and the infamous tree of heaven from our campground. This event is for our TN Serves volunteers who are looking for service hours. Enjoy your day with us, get to know your local rangers and help to preserve the natural resources and heritage of our area.

Note: This event will be cancelled if we undergo inclement weather.

WHAT TO BRING: Water to drink. Please bring/wear clothes & gloves suitable for outdoor work to include closed-toed shoes.
