An expert on native plants of the Tennessee Overhill, owner Avi Askey has designed landscapesfor several historic sites, including Tellico Plains Botanical Garden, Fort Loudoun State Historic Area, and Sequoyah Birthplace Museum.

Hours: Tue, Thur, Fri, Sat – 11am-6pm (closed Wednesday and Sunday) Stone Cottage Shop & Gardens 121 Scott StreetFamily Owned Gardens & Bakery – Gardens open from mid April thru September. You will find hostas, daylilies, iris, azaleas, dogwoods, hydrangeas, and many more varieties. Sample homemade pecan fruit cakes, candies, and jellies in this family-owned bakery. A total of eight miles of trails with foot bridges lead the visitor through the Hollow and also around the ridges that form the Hollow. Sunshine Hollow was picked in 2005 by National Geographic™ as one of the best places to visit in Tennessee.
Garden Hours (Apr-Jun): Tue-Thur – 8am-2pm; Fri-Sat – 8am-4pmA small 40-acre family farm where everything is organically grown. Unique and unusual culinary herbs with heirloom and ethnic varieties of vegetable plants are available along with some common varieties. An antique shop with glass, china, vintage hats and jewelry is located on the farm. Also the largest herd of registered Morgan horses in the south is located on the farm.
