Goforth Creek Hike – Thursday, March 28 at Sugarloaf Mountain Park (10:30am to 1:00pm).
Goforth Creek is a beautiful hike within the Cherokee National Forest. This hike will be 2-3 miles round trip. It is considered moderate in difficulty but follows along an old road bed. There is a steady incline at the beginning of the hike. Please wear study hiking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring along some water and pack your lunch. Goforth Creek is a great place to stop and enjoy lunch along the creek bank. Registration is required for this hike.
We will meet at Sugarloaf Mountain Park by the restrooms. Members of your party will need to carpool together from Sugarloaf due to parking being limited at the trailhead. It is about a 15-20 minute drive to the trailhead.
