Cord Making with a Lucet

Cord Making with a Lucet – Saturday, Feb. 26 at Fort Loudoun (10am to 11:30am).

A very simple tool, the lucet dates back to the Viking and Medieval periods, over 1,000 years ago.  During the program you will learn how to use a lucet, make cord, and then use the cord to add the finishing touches to a bag.  You’ll take home the bag and lucet.

This program is for ages 10 and older.  Due to the project and program supplies this program is limited to six.  If you are unable to come, please contact Ranger Baghetti so someone else can join.  Cost is $20   423-420-2331
