Fall Kayak Paddle 10-22

Fall Kayak Paddle – Saturday, Oct. 22 at Fort Loudoun 10:00am to 2:00pm).  Meet at the boat dock.

Each year nature displays a spectacular array of fall colors. We will be paddling around the island to view this beautiful display of nature’s artistry. Ranger Baghetti will narrate your trip with tree identification and park history.

The tour will depart from and end at the boat dock/kayak launch located next to the main parking lot. This is an advanced paddle.

Kayaks and kayak equipment are available for those who do not have their own; anyone with their own kayak and equipment is welcome to bring it. Cost for renting a kayak and equipment is $30 and anyone bringing their own equipment it is $20. Space is limited to 10 so be sure to reserve your spot.

Bring water and dress for the weather. Also, be prepared for boat traffic, waves, wind, and possible cooler temperatures. Please contact the park office for more details.  423-420-2331
