McGhee Carson Tour 4-16

McGhee Carson Tour – Saturday, April 16 at the McGhee-Carson home.  (2pm to 3pm).

The McGee-Carson home was an antebellum home in Monroe County.  Today, the foundation is all that is left, but with some imagination you can picture the house as it once stood.  Surrounding the site are native grass plots filled with deer and birds.  This hike is rated easy for its short distance and relatively flat land.  Please wear appropriate shoes and bring water.  Meet Ranger Baghetti at the parking area, located at the far end of McGee Carson Road.  $5.00   423-420-2331
