Tellico Blockhouse Tour 6-25

Tellico Blockhouse Tour – Saturday, June 25 at the Tellico Blockhouse (11am to 12pm).

Join Historian Joseph Blanco on a short walk to the Tellico Blockhouse ruins and learn about its epic story involving the young United States and the powerful Cherokee nation.  Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

*There are no restroom facilities and shade is limited.  Pre-registration is required.  Meet at the Tellico Blockhouse parking lot.

Cost is $5 for 13 and older and free for 12 and under.

-From Maryville: Traveling south on Highway 411, enter Monroe County and turn left onto Clearview Drive, turn right onto Tellico Blockhouse Road, follow the road ~.25 mile to the parking lot.  If you reach Highway 360 you’ve gone too far.

-From Vonore: Traveling north on Highway 411, drive through Vonore and across the bridge, turn right onto Clearview Drive, turn right onto Tellico Blockhouse Road, follow the road ~.25 mile to the parking lot.
