View the Night Sky – Monday, Feb. 21 at Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park (8pm to 9pm).
Winter is the best time of year to slow down and take a look at the night sky. Fingers crossed for clear weather. Join a Park Ranger for the basics of how to spot certain constellations and learn more about the mythology behind them. Hot chocolate will also be available for those that would like it. Please meet in the group camp area of Gee Creek campground. Please be mindful of everyone’s night vision and enter the group camp with only your parking lights on.
