Join us in the Beaded Earring and Necklace set Class on April 27th 10 AM to 3 PM here at Sequoyah Birthplace Museum. In this class you will learn how to make a pair of beaded hoop earrings with a matching necklace. The cost of the class is $40 per person and materials are included. Space is limited to 10 people. Tonya Dockery is a life-long resident of Tellico Plains, TN. She travels the Southeast doing programs and teaching pine needle and coil baskets, corn shuck dolls, beadwork, and finger weaving and living history that portrays the lifestyle of the Appalachian families between the time period of the late 1700’s-early 1800’s.
