Hiwassee River Cleanup 3-23

Join us for the annual Hiwassee River cleanup on Saturday March 23rd.  Registration will begin at 9 am at the Quinn Springs Recreation Area.  Quinn Springs Recreation Area is located 1.5 miles on Highway 30 just south of the Hiwassee River and east of Highway 411 in Polk County and is approx. 6 miles north of Benton and 6 miles south  of Etowah.Everyone is encouraged to wear long sleeve shirts, thick leather gloves and sturdy boots.  Garbage bags and snacks will be provided.  Trout Unlimited will be providing a cookout for participants after the event.  This event is sponsored by USDA Forest Service, Tennessee State Parks, TWRA, TVA, Trout Unlimited and Starr Mountain Outfitters.
